This incredible natural processed coffee is grown by some 700 farmers in and around the Gedeo region just west of the town of Yirgacheffe. Ripe heirloom cherry is delivered directly to the Kebel Dumerso washing station (owned by Surafel Birhanu and his family), where it is sun-dried on raised beds for roughly 4-6 weeks before hulling and and transporting to dry mill in Addis.. Small holders typically harvest the various heirloom varietals between October and December.

The flavour profile of this coffee is smooth and balanced - look for blueberries, shortbread, black tea notes and a pronounced sweetness.
